impressive outing at Wrigley Field where the smoking-hot Cincinnati Reds beat

Conforto had a big day at the plate. He blasted a two-run home run in the 6th
inning and cracked a solo homerun in the 8th inning. Cincinnati banged out 8
hits on the afternoon.
The win was credited to Bieber(12-10) who went 5 innings allowing 1 run.
Felipe Vazquez earned the save, his 22nd. The losing pitcher was Mike

surrended up 4 hits and 1 walk. Atlanta was out-hit by Pittsburgh, 9 hits to
4.
Scherzer was helped out by Kirby Yates who recorded his 39th save. Charlie
Morton(13-6) was the loser. Scherzer was pleased with his performance. He
noted, 'I had good zip on my pitches. Just as important, my location was
right on. The fans really got into the game too - that always helps me.
Now, if I can only do that again in my next outing.'

What an evening for the Los Angeles(NL) Dodgers! They shellacked the slumping
Milwaukee Brewers pitching for 11 runs while Tyler Mahle(12-9)with bullpen

In the 3rd inning Los Angeles(NL) went on top for good with 3 runs utilizing 4
base hits. Ryan O'Hearn was the sparkplug when he delivered a solo blast.
Mahle came to the plate and ripped a base-knock. Dansby Swanson then smacked
a single. Yoan Moncada came up and he laced a one-base hit scoring one more
run. Moncada was running on the next pitch and he stole second. Ian Desmond
joined his teammates in the uprising and hit a sacrifice fly scoring the
final run of the inning. Los Angeles(NL) ended up with 17 hits for the game
while Milwaukee had 10.
Brad Keller(8-19) was given the loss. He was unable to control the Los
Angeles(NL) offense and allowed 9 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings.
