big moment was provided by Rhys Hoskins who silenced Great American Bpk as he
cracked a two-run shot. Overall Tampa Bay out-hit Cincinnati 9 to 6.

At PNC Park, the Pittsburgh fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel. Sandy
Alcantara(13-2) finally bested his Pittsburgh opposite, Trevor
Williams(7-11), by the score of 4 to 0.
St. Louis claimed the early lead in the first inning scoring one runner on 2
hits. After two were out Howie Kendrick providing the offense himself as he
belted a solo home run. That was all the offense they were to need. St.
Louis had 10 hits for the afternoon while Pittsburgh had 3.
Williams was the losing pitcher. This win by St. Louis continues their recent
hot streak. In their last ten games, they have a record of 8-2. For the
season, they are a division leading 76-38. With this loss, Pittsburgh has a

Twins won in their last at-bat beating the woeful Houston Astros by the count

The game was won by Minnesota when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning. After two were out Luis Arraez lashed a single. Freddie Freeman
stepped up next and he tripled giving Minnesota the victory and sending the
37,485 home-town fans home happy. Minnesota totaled 11 hits on the
afternoon.
The victory was credited to Hunter Wood(2-2) who went 1/3 of an inning,
allowing no runs. The losing pitcher was Dominic Leone(1-2) in relief. He

Hunter Renfroe struck out, unable to help the rally. Matt Carpenter followed
next and he reached on an error plating a run. Gleyber Torres came up to bat
and popped a two-run clout over the fence. Collin McHugh(3-4) got relief
help from Brad Hand who was excellent in relief and gained credit for his
20th save.
The loss was charged to Jake Faria(0-2) in relief. He was unable to retire a
