Charlie Morton(12-5) delivered a fine performance for Atlanta. He was reached for 5 hits and 1 walk in 6 innings. Morton recorded 9 strikeouts. New York (NL) had a chance in the 9th but they came up short. Alex Colome preserved the game for Morton, recording his his 20th save. Francisco Liriano(3-5) was the losing pitcher in relief.
