The game was deadlocked at 5 after nine full innings. Finally, Pittsburgh
prevailed in the 12th inning. The biggest moment was provided by Luplow who
quieted the crowd when he doubled plating two runs. Pittsburgh had 16 hits

The Houston Astros defeated the Philadelphia Phillies by a score of 4 to 1 at
Minute Maid Park.
Houston jumped on top of Philadelphia in the 4th inning plating one
baserunner. Although they lost, Philadelphia did out-hit Houston 10 to 6.
Jhoulys Chacin(5-9) went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing 1 run for the victory.
Jose Urquidy recorded his 2nd save. Trevor Bauer(6-10) ended up with the
loss. Despite taking the loss, he whiffed 7 batters in 3 and 2/3 innings.
Wth the win Houston now has a record of 29-63. With the loss, the
Philadelphia ballclub's record is 35-58.

In a two run game the St. Louis Cardinals got by the Washington Nationals in
10 innings by the score of 4 to 2.
The score was tied at 2 after nine. St. Louis won the game in the 10th
inning. After two were out Tommy Pham was the sparkplug when he delivered a
solo blast. Carson Kelly was next and he delivered a base-hit. Tommy Edman
then hit a single. St. Louis' manager then called for a steal which was
successful scoring the final run of the inning. St. Louis and Washington
each finished the afternoon with 7 hits.
Daniel Hudson(2-4) got the win allowing no runs in 1 inning. Hudson got help
from Brandon Workman who was credited with his 23rd save. The loss was
charged to Tyler Olson(0-2) in relief.

Javy Guerra came through with a solid 4 innings as the Toronto Blue Jays beat
the Minnesota Twins by a score of 3 to 2.
Toronto delivered all the runs required in the 8th inning scoring 3 runs on 2
hits. Bo Bichette started the scoring when he smashed a solo-shot out of the
park. Danny Santana stepped into the batter's box and he drew a walk.
Santana swiped second base. Anthony Rizzo came up and he drew a walk. After
an out was recorded, Hunter Dozier came to bat and tripled driving home
another two teammates. Both teams finished the game with 6 hits.
The victory was credited to Guerra(5-5) who went 4 innings, allowing no runs.
The losing pitcher was Hunter Wood(0-2) in relief.

Brandon Drury went yard and had 3 RBI at Miller Park as the Milwaukee Brewers
pulled off a dramatic comeback beating the Colorado Rockies by the count of 4
to 3.
Milwaukee erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
when they came up with 4 runs on 3 hits. The big moment was provided by
Drury who came through for the home fans when he rifled a three-run blast.
Milwaukee finished with 8 hits in the victory.
The win went to Wei-Chung Wang(3-4) who allowed 1 run in 1 inning. Scott
Oberg(0-3) was tagged with the loss in relief. 'Now there is a lesson in
perseverance for you,' Drury noted. 'It was looking pretty dim there for a
while, but we just kept plugging away and it really paid off in spades! And
it was great to see the crowd go crazy there at the end!'
