Tampa Bay came up with all the runs they needed in the 5th inning as they
scored 5 runs on 4 base hits. The big moment was provided by Paul Dejong who
made the crowd happy when he lifted one out of the park for a two run home
run. Boston had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Yu Darvish(9-4) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings. Diego
Castillo gained credit for his 3rd save. Marcus Walden(0-2) ended up with
the loss in relief. By surrending 3 runs in 4 innings his ERA jumped from
1.99 to 2.37.

back in the 9th but they came up short.
Josh Hader recorded his 12th save. Kyle Hendricks(6-4) was the losing
pitcher. He served up 3 gopher balls in 5 and 1/3 innings.
