Second baseman Mike Moustakas cracked 3 homeruns and scored 4 times as the Los
Angeles(AL) Angels man-handled the Texas Rangers - the final score was 22 to

Moustakas was unconscious out there. While Texas pitching was serving
softballs up there for him to hit, the Texas fans were serving up some
hardball barbs when he entered the batter's box. But he just used it as fuel
for the fire. He lined a one-base hit in the 3rd inning, hit a bases-empty
home run in the 5th inning, lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in the 6th inning
and delivered a solo blast in the 7th inning. Los Angeles(AL) bats were very

prevailed in the 11th inning. Brandon Belt began the New York (AL) spurt
when he ripped a solo home run. After an out was recorded, Joc Pederson

In a close game the Arizona Diamondbacks got by the Colorado Rockies in 11
innings by the score of 3 to 1.
The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings. Arizona came out on top
in the 11th inning. Ildemaro Vargas led off and started the attack as he
doubled. C.J. Cron got his chance to keep things going, but he went down on
strikes. J.T. Riddle then blasted a two-run home run giving Arizona the win
and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. Arizona finished with just 5

in the 4th inning and hit a 'grand salami' to the delight of his teammates in
the 7th inning. Cincinnati tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
The victory went to Adrian Houser(1-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings, allowing 2
runs. Kirby Yates got the save, his 15th. Liam Hendriks(3-4) was given the
loss in relief.
