The game was deadlocked at 5 after nine full innings. Finally, Washington
pulled the game out in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Dexter
Fowler began the rally when he doubled. Brian Goodwin stepped into the
batter's box and he banged out a single driving in a run. Cheslor Cuthbert
then lined a single. Castro was up next and he stroked a base-hit resulting
in an exciting win for Washington and a wild post-game celebration by the
home town fans. The game was a wild affair with the lead changing hands 5
times.
Josh Hader(1-5) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 inning. Archie
Bradley(5-1) was the loser in relief. He gave up 4 hits and no walks in 1/3
