Glasnow(4-3) was on top of his game. He didn't allow much, just 1 hit and 2
walks in 7 innings improving his ERA from 3.96 to 3.56. Philadelphia rapped
out 9 hits for the night.

relieved and was untouched by San Francisco as he recorded the save, his
13th.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance

single in the 3rd inning and launched a rocket-shot out of the park for a
Grand Slam homerun in the 5th inning. Cleveland rapped out 9 hits for the
night.

Mark Canha ripped 2 homeruns as the Oakland Athletics won in dramatic fashion
over the Texas Rangers by a score of 5 to 4 at Globe Life Park.
Oakland scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 9th inning plating 3 runs
on 4 hits. After two outs Jose Martinez got things going when he doubled.
Yasmani Grandal stepped up next and he tripled bringing in a run. Ramon
Laureano then stroked a one-base hit scoring another run. Hanser Alberto
stepped in and he doubled, and an error was also committed, scoring the final
run of the inning. Oakland totaled 8 hits on the night.
The winning pitcher was Andrew Chafin(1-1) who allowed no runs in 1/3 of an
inning. Ian Kennedy was credited with his 14th save. Roenis Elias(1-5) was
the loser in relief.
'I pin this one on my own shoulders,' Elias said. 'The bottom line is I didn't
get the job done. Our fans deserve better than this.'
